Introduction

I'm E.J. Bulaong, a Software Developer student from Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology. Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering Diploma holder from Bulacan State University College of Engineering Malolos City, Philippines. I have two years of experience teaching basic programming and other computer related subjects. I have a strong background working with computers both software and hardware. I used different programming languages and other computer applications when I am taking my bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering.

As more and more users are interacting with apps on their mobile device, there is a growing need to have applications that work offline, when users don’t have a connection. In this project, I learned the basics creating an offline first app, using Service Workers to store and retrieve images, JavaScript, CSS and HTML using the browsers offline storage. Along with this, I created an application that will interact with 3rd party services, and convert an existing online application so that it will work offline..
